July 26, 2017 3:00pm
Speakers: Liz Mayo, Director, NFP Compensation Consulting and Susan Douglas, Senior Comp Consultant, Topgolf USA

Of course, when asked, CRTRA members will always say CRTRA surveys provide the best data and are universally superior to all others. However, multiple sources are key to reinforce the validity of any research. Liz and Susan will host a networking roundtable for members to share best practices and discuss which surveys they use most. Participants will discuss:
– What could make the CRTRA survey better
– Different Jobs, Data Slices, Timing, Questions, etc
– Which other surveys are the best to buy and which to avoid
– Debate surveys who report data without disclosing participants
This is an open forum for members to learn how each other use the CRTRA survey and others.

Session 2: How to Impact Congressional Change for HR
July 27, 2017 9:30am
Speaker: Liz Mayo, Director, NFP Compensation Consulting

Federal legislation impacts all of us. As reward professionals, we are tasked with implementing legislation after it’s passed. Have you ever wanted to have a say in how those rules were written? In 2017, World at Work organized meetings where reward professionals met with Congressional leaders to discuss ways to improve HR legislation. Takeaways from those meetings included additional insight on what legislation was upcoming and how to continue to educate our Congressmen on HR-related needs. In this session, Liz will share these insights with you. Specifically, she’ll discuss:

– How to Contact your Congressional Leaders
– Some Specific Legislation in Play
– EEO-1 Changes
– Dodd-Frank (CEO Pay Ratio Rule)
– Transparency in Proxy Advisory Companies
– Student Loan Repayment Assistance Legislation
– Mobile Workforce State Income Tax Simplification Act
– CRTRA & World at Work Advocacy in Congress
